I got these for my 14 year old to prepare for her period. They look like they’d fit an 8 year old. They run super small for a large teen. My daughter is about 90 pounds, 4.5 feet tall. I thought a large would run like a 14/16. She will need a woman’s small or medium likely.

I ordered the Teen L as a grown woman who never grew past the size of an average 13 year old girl, and I've been wearing them as my primary period protection for a couple years now. I've always found them comfortable and reliable, so this weekend I put them through their biggest test so far: an two-day convention.
Pros: The snug fit and absorbent fabric prevented 100% of leaks onto my clothes. By the end of the day, blood was visibly soaking into the fabric of the panties, but it was absorbent enough that it never soaked completely through to the other side.
Cons: After walking 30,000 steps in two days while wearing these, the snug fit was causing painful chafing on my inner thighs.
I have never had that issue before and did not notice it until I was at least 25,000 steps in, so I would say they can stand up to all but the most intense activity levels.

Medium and Large were too tight for my 70 pound daughter who has some sensory issues. I imagine the large might be okay for a 70 pound girl without sensory issues. I’m not sure how well they work since she only just tried them on.

My daughter wears 10/12 she's about 75 lbs for reference. The medium some were good others too snug. The teen large she said was perfect, with a little room to grow. She said they didnt feel much different than regular underwear to her at all. She is wearing them right now to "try" although she hasn't started yet. We anticipate this school year.
My only worry is the next size because an xs is WAY bigger.

Cute colours and lovely fabric & construction, but be careful when picking your size as they fit really tiny. I ordered the M for my 9yo (not skinny, not curvy, just average) kind of as an advance 'hey here's what period undies look like :) '
They were way too small. I think by the time she actually getd her period she'll either be a L or maybe completely out of the teen range. I wish they were bigger sized?
