The Sporty. Bikini is made from our PeriodTech™ fabric - a super stretchy Nylon and Spandex knit that moves with you. As always, the gusset is made with organic cotton.

How to take care of your Period.

Rinse for a few seconds.

Either hand wash and hang dry, or add to the laundry pile.

Regular wash, no bleach.

Tumble dry low or hang dry.

Do not dry clean.

Each pair of Period. underwear can hold up to 10 tbls, or 8-10 tampons, worth of blood.

How long will one pair of Period. last?

Everybody periods differently so it’s tough to be exact. Our average time is about 8 hours on a heavier flow day. Though some customers need to change after 3 to 4 hours, and others can go up to 14 hours (lucky them!). As your period gets lighter, one pair can take you through the day and night (just like regular underwear). But again, everybody Periods differently, so you need to take one cycle to figure out exactly how often you need to change. Start with a conservative estimate on your heavy days, and check in on your Period underwear after 4 hours. If you still feel good, give it another hour. Keep going until you figure out your limit. Here at Period, we find we need between 3 to 4 pairs on the first two heavy days, including evenings. And if you leak, please forgive us! Just this once. (Remember how many tampons you have forgiven). Treat the ‘leak’ as a gift and note the hour of your leakage. That is the best indicator of your ‘flow threshold’ how long the underwear will last for you.

    Great Product

    Why did it take so long to come up with this? I've bought other brands but Period brand panties are the best! Feel like your wearing regular panties without a diaper!!! I wear them in addition to my period pcup since i hate pads!! My mom even bought some!

    Will definitely be buying more! In a medium next time!

    They fit pretty well, but there is a lot of bulk in the back. I’ll try them to see how they look under jeans, and let you know how they work.

    I normally use disposable underwear, but hate how they feel and look. I despise anything that requires insertion (tampons, cups, etc). Stick-on pads, even if they're winged, move around too much when I walk.

    I LOVE this product! I wore these on my heaviest day and expected them to only last up to 3 hours at most, just like the disposable underwear I use. They lasted for several hours (7+). I consider myself to at the very least be a medium bleeder. Some months are heavier, some are a little lighter.

    I find them easy to clean. They're also very comfortable much to my happiness. So comfortable, that I could see myself wearing these even when I'm not on my period. Discomfort makes my cramps feel worse and these made them so much more manageable for me. I will be purchasing more in the future.
