PERIOD! NOW IN FRIDGES!

This week we sent 1000 pairs of underwear to One Love Community Fridge, a project that we cannot love enough. This NY-based non-profit provides free healthy food and essential supplies to communities in Brooklyn and lower Manhattan via a network of community fridges. Yes, fridges! Their latest pack, distributed to all of their fridges, is a women’s essential care kit. The combined stigma of menstruation and poverty can sometimes feel like an impossible adversary, but at Period. we’re convinced that readily available period underwear is a big part of the solution.
