Hi, I’m the Heavy High Waisted with an Extended Gusset. If I could, I would have called myself The Heavy Heavy High Waisted. I’m the exact same style as your favorite Heavy High Waisted Period. but with one big difference - I have an extended absorbent gusset that goes all the way from the top of the front to the top of the back. In other words, my absorbent panel is maxed out to as far as you can take it, so you can have even more confidence in going leak-free. I’m perfect for those first few heavy days when you might be back-flowing, front-flowing, or everywhere-flowing. It’s okay. We’ve all been there. I’m super soft, made of comfy cotton, and here to give you the super safe feeling that we all want on our heavy days.

How to take care of your Period.

Rinse any fresh blood off in the sink or the shower.

Hang to dry then add to your laundry pile. 

Machine wash warm, no bleach.

Tumble dry low. Do not dry clean or iron. 

Each pair of Period. underwear can hold up to 9 tampons worth of blood.

How long will one pair of Period. last?

Everybody periods differently so it’s tough to be exact. Our average time is about 8 hours on a heavier flow day. Though some customers need to change after 3 to 4 hours, and others can go up to 14 hours (lucky them!). As your period gets lighter, one pair can take you through the day and night (just like regular underwear). But again, everybody Periods differently, so you need to take one cycle to figure out exactly how often you need to change. Start with a conservative estimate on your heavy days, and check in on your Period underwear after 4 hours. If you still feel good, give it another hour. Keep going until you figure out your limit. Here at Period, we find we need between 3 to 4 pairs on the first two heavy days, including evenings. And if you leak, please forgive us! Just this once. (Remember how many tampons you have forgiven). Treat the ‘leak’ as a gift and note the hour of your leakage. That is the best indicator of your ‘flow threshold’ how long the underwear will last for you.

    A hug for your uterus

    Honestly, I laughed when I pulled these out of the package because they were so high waisted. But I ate my words after a day of wearing them. SO COMFY. You'll never catch me in a pad again...

    2 pairs, one great the other not good

    I purchased 2 pairs. One pair works fine, the other bled through the fabric immediately on the front near the bottom the first time I wore it. Sizing also seems a bit off; I usually wear a medium, but according to their sizing chart, I was just past medium, so I went with a large, which turned out to be too large, and the leg opening is enormous.

    Customer service was great and they offered to replace the pair that bled through, but unfortunately it seems that this style is nearly always out of stock, and they ended up replacing it with something else altogether.

    these are amazing, actually high waisted &extra coverage, although i didn't need heavy flow absorbency, i could not find high waisted panties or the pad coverage as high as these in any other brand or absorbency. [please think about doing different absorbencies exactly the sameee!😊]

    Great product, but pads are too flimsy and easily get bunched up, and the extra coverage underwear has unnecessary padding in front and definitely more for sleeping in because of how hot my butt gets off i try to wear them during an active day.
