Hi! I’m super-super-super absorbent and designed to handle the heaviest days of a period. I’m made of soft, comfy organic cotton and have a four-layer padded towel absorbency that holds your flow. I have a wicking layer on top, so I can absorb the blood super fast with no wetness. You will feel padding, but frankly, on those heavy days, feeling secure, safe, and leak proof is a pretty great feeling, alongside being so comfy and cozy. Warning: after you use me once, you will look at tampons and disposable pads and pretend you don’t know them. Be cold. They deserve it. 

When to wear: on your heaviest days. Also great for postpartum and perimenopause.

How to take care of your Period.

Rinse for a few seconds.

Either hand wash and hang dry, or add to the laundry pile.

Regular wash, no bleach.

Tumble dry low or hang dry.

Do not dry clean.

None, zero, nada, zilch. We are proud to be one of the few period underwear brands that do not use any toxins in our products because who wants chemicals near the most sensitive part of their body? Not us. Or you.

Each pair of Period. underwear can hold up to 9 tampons worth of blood.

How long will one pair of Period. last?

Everybody periods differently so it’s tough to be exact. Our average time is about 8 hours on a heavier flow day. Though some customers need to change after 3 to 4 hours, and others can go up to 14 hours (lucky them!). As your period gets lighter, one pair can take you through the day and night (just like regular underwear). But again, everybody Periods differently, so you need to take one cycle to figure out exactly how often you need to change. Start with a conservative estimate on your heavy days, and check in on your Period underwear after 4 hours. If you still feel good, give it another hour. Keep going until you figure out your limit. Here at Period, we find we need between 3 to 4 pairs on the first two heavy days, including evenings. And if you leak, please forgive us! Just this once. (Remember how many tampons you have forgiven). Treat the ‘leak’ as a gift and note the hour of your leakage. That is the best indicator of your ‘flow threshold’ how long the underwear will last for you.

    Finally found the solution!

    I have tried multiple brands and styles and gadgets and gizmos to help with leaks and nothing has ever worked, I nearly gave up. A friend gave me a referral code so I decided to just try again, though I didnt have much hope. To my amazement these are IT! I immediately went back and bought more!

    Comfortable, breathable, non bulky, I feel dry and confident all day! And they ACTUALLY fit an extended plus size body! I'm never looking back.

    Love cotton

    So glad these are made of decent materials, no skin irritation, these are very breathable. A bit thicker in the pad area, I like them at night and like my first day.

    Absolutely amazing underweaer!! I was skepitcal at first because I've never tried period underwear before. But these were amazing. They were comfortable and i never leaked through, and they didnt roll or shift out place while sleeping or during work. They feel super comfy and the material is nice. l've recommended to my friends so they can hopefully buy some and not have to deal with pads or tampons again.
