For medium to light absorbency. Built for when your period is easing out of the heavy days. Also great for everyday pee leaks!

Absorbs up to 4 regular tampons worth of flow.

Hi. I’m the perfect pair of high-waisted for when your flow begins to lessen, or for birth control periods. What’s a birth control period!? Well, when you just don’t know what’s coming. I’ve got light padding so I’m great for bulky-phobes but you’ll be shocked at how absorbent I am. Not toxic shocked though! Phew. Let’s leave that to the tampons. I’m also great for periods that can’t quite end and for panty-liner lovers. I’m made from super soft brushed microfiber with an organic cotton gusset. I also bring a light mood with me. You’re welcome.

When to wear: medium days, light days, what the hell, everyday!

How long will one pair of Period. last?

Everybody periods differently so it’s tough to be exact. Our average time is about 8 hours on a heavier flow day. Though some customers need to change after 3 to 4 hours, and others can go up to 14 hours (lucky them!). As your period gets lighter, one pair can take you through the day and night (just like regular underwear). But again, everybody Periods differently, so you need to take one cycle to figure out exactly how often you need to change. Start with a conservative estimate on your heavy days, and check in on your Period underwear after 4 hours. If you still feel good, give it another hour. Keep going until you figure out your limit. Here at Period, we find we need between 3 to 4 pairs on the first two heavy days, including evenings. And if you leak, please forgive us! Just this once. (Remember how many tampons you have forgiven). Treat the ‘leak’ as a gift and note the hour of your leakage. That is the best indicator of your ‘flow threshold’ how long the underwear will last for you.

Message from a Star Fish: I wanted to tell you that on this rare instance, I’m not the star. You are. By wearing just one pair of Period, you’ve saved the world from 4 tampons that will take generations to decompose and let’s not get into pads. Thank you from the bottom of the ocean.

    Go for your normal size.

It's comfortable. Unfortunately my flow this month was fairly light so I didn't really get to put it to the test. But it worked for what I had.

I normally wear a small in bottoms. I wear a medium in VS underwear. I'm 5'0 and about 120 lbs. Based off of the size guide I went for a medium. And it looked huge. It fit well enough. My only complaint was the very bottom seemed a little big saggy. And it was up half of my back and well past my belly button. I think if I were taller, it would have worked better. I think based off of my small stature, a size small would have been perfect.

    Great and comfortable for sleeping

I personally am not comfortable wearing period underwear during the day but for sleeping these were amazing! They are so comfortable and I appreciate how high the padding goes, I’ve used period underwear from other brands and the padding just stopped too low on the front but these are perfect!!

    Not just for periods!

I originally ordered a pair to see if Period underwear would be a good option instead of pads for light Bladder leaks. It has been better than I imagined! No more changing pants and underwear after a bad sneeze, cough or laughing too hard. Now I'm just changing underwear, no throwing away pads, just putting on another pair and I'm good to go! I've tried a few styles and sizes, and am currently changing out all of my underwear to Period underwear.

Works, used as a mid / low flow as I was able to use it for about 3 hours
