Hi. I’m the perfect pair of high-waisted for when your flow begins to lessen, or for birth control periods. What’s a birth control period!? Well, when you just don’t know what’s coming. I’ve got light padding so I’m great for bulky-phobes but you’ll be shocked at how absorbent I am. Not toxic shocked though! Phew. Let’s leave that to the tampons. I’m also great for periods that can’t quite end and for panty-liner lovers. I’m made from super soft brushed microfiber with an organic cotton gusset. I also bring a light mood with me. You’re welcome.  

When to wear: medium days, light days, what the hell, everyday!

How to take care of your Period.

Rinse for a few seconds.

Either hand wash and hang dry, or add to the laundry pile.

Regular wash, no bleach.

Tumble dry low or hang dry.

Do not dry clean.

Each pair of Medium Flow Period. underwear can hold up to 4 tampons worth of blood.

How long will one pair of Period. last?

Everybody periods differently so it’s tough to be exact. Our average time is about 8 hours on a heavier flow day. Though some customers need to change after 3 to 4 hours, and others can go up to 14 hours (lucky them!). As your period gets lighter, one pair can take you through the day and night (just like regular underwear). But again, everybody Periods differently, so you need to take one cycle to figure out exactly how often you need to change. Start with a conservative estimate on your heavy days, and check in on your Period underwear after 4 hours. If you still feel good, give it another hour. Keep going until you figure out your limit. Here at Period, we find we need between 3 to 4 pairs on the first two heavy days, including evenings. And if you leak, please forgive us! Just this once. (Remember how many tampons you have forgiven). Treat the ‘leak’ as a gift and note the hour of your leakage. That is the best indicator of your ‘flow threshold’ how long the underwear will last for you.

    No leak protection

    I wore these at home to test them out, and thank goodness I was at home. The first “gush” I felt I went to the bathroom to check. I bled through the crotch. I was just sitting and not moving around when I got up to check. The leak was right through the crotch all the way to the fabric on the other side. So if you get these test them out at home. They are not for me but if you have super light flow with no gushes they might work?

    Great coverage in a pretty package

    I've purchased the plain black in the past and these are even better. I love how soft they are. They coverage is less than I am used to, so I use these later in the week. I love how soft and normal they look.

    Perfect

    The only issue is that I bloat really bad for the first 2 days so I wish I would have sized up. I have pcos and possibly endometriosis (working towards a diagnosis) and have a pretty heavy flow. These are so comfortable and secure. Tampons and cups cause my cramps to be 10x worse, my doc says probably because I have a tilted uterus, and pads are honestly kind of annoying. Reusable pads are great but a bit bulky, so these are honestly the perfect solution for me
