I’m a no brainer. I’m exactly like disposable pads, except you can keep reusing me and I am toxin free. Nasty plastic gone. Nasty bleach gone. I’m toxin-free organic cotton and super soft. Use me in your regular underwear, use me as extra back up in Period underwear, then throw me in the wash and I’m good to go again. I’m great for heavy and light days. 

Quick fact: did you know the plastic tape bit on disposable pads is one of the most polluting plastics in the world? It has a super high carbon footprint as well.

Each pad measures 10.25" long and 3.25" wide at the narrowest part.

How to take care of your Period.

Rinse any fresh blood off in the sink or the shower.

Hang to dry then add to your laundry pile. 

Machine wash warm, no bleach.

Tumble dry low. Do not dry clean or iron. 

Each pad can hold up to 9 tampons, worth of blood.

How long will one pad last?

Everybody periods differently so it’s tough to be exact. Our average time is about 8 hours on a heavier flow day. Though some customers need to change after 3 to 4 hours, and others can go up to 14 hours (lucky them!). As your period gets lighter, one pair can take you through the day and night (just like regular underwear). But again, everybody Periods differently, so you need to take one cycle to figure out exactly how often you need to change. Start with a conservative estimate on your heavy days, and check in on your Period underwear after 4 hours. If you still feel good, give it another hour. Keep going until you figure out your limit. Here at Period, we find we need between 3 to 4 pairs on the first two heavy days, including evenings. And if you leak, please forgive us! Just this once. (Remember how many tampons you have forgiven). Treat the ‘leak’ as a gift and note the hour of your leakage. That is the best indicator of your ‘flow threshold’ how long the underwear will last for you.

    I love them so much but they are just a little too thick. you can see the lining of the pad. as a woman we are always asking one another if you can see the "pad" because we want it as discrete as possible but they dont give discrete for small petite women. maybe a much more thicker woman can get away with it but I gotta find a way to hide it

    What I’ve been missing all along

    I am not a tampon girly, I have been recently using period underwear from another brand but wanted an organic cotton option and Period. Delivered! These pads are amazing, I cannot talk highly enough. They’re soft and comfortable in your underwear. They are a tad bulky on the end and front but I don’t care, I like that it’s padded and actually absorbs as much as it says. Sometimes I even expect to bleed through but it has yet to happen! So easy to rinse and wash, I love that they are reusable. Pairing them with their period undies during my cycle works perfect.

    Amazing deal! Pads are a little bulkier what other brands I use and are perefct for over night coverage. You cannot beat the pice and quality on these! They will show under clothing items so keep that in mind when purchasing. I rock the period panties when going out and these at bed time :D
