I’m a no brainer. I’m exactly like disposable pads, except you can keep reusing me and I am toxin free. Nasty plastic gone. Nasty bleach gone. I’m toxin-free organic cotton and super soft. Use me in your regular underwear, use me as extra back up in Period underwear, then throw me in the wash and I’m good to go again. I’m great for heavy and light days. 

Quick fact: did you know the plastic tape bit on disposable pads is one of the most polluting plastics in the world? It has a super high carbon footprint as well.

How to take care of your Period.

Rinse for a few seconds.

Either hand wash and hang dry, or add to the laundry pile.

Regular wash, no bleach.

Tumble dry low or hang dry.

Do not dry clean.

Each pad can hold up to 9 tampons, worth of blood.

How long will one pad last?

Everybody periods differently so it’s tough to be exact. Our average time is about 8 hours on a heavier flow day. Though some customers need to change after 3 to 4 hours, and others can go up to 14 hours (lucky them!). As your period gets lighter, one pair can take you through the day and night (just like regular underwear). But again, everybody Periods differently, so you need to take one cycle to figure out exactly how often you need to change. Start with a conservative estimate on your heavy days, and check in on your Period underwear after 4 hours. If you still feel good, give it another hour. Keep going until you figure out your limit. Here at Period, we find we need between 3 to 4 pairs on the first two heavy days, including evenings. And if you leak, please forgive us! Just this once. (Remember how many tampons you have forgiven). Treat the ‘leak’ as a gift and note the hour of your leakage. That is the best indicator of your ‘flow threshold’ how long the underwear will last for you.

    A game changer!

    I’m so glad I purchased these! The absorbency is wonderful, and they’re so incredibly comfortable compared to disposable pads. I don’t feel the snaps at all, and they’re nice and secure, so I’m not concerned with them coming undone until I’m ready for them to. I would love a longer version for extra coverage overnight!

    AMAZING

    I bought 2 packs of these (10 pads total) and I absolutely love them. Definitely a learning curve determining how long you can wear one. On my heaviest days I used 3 pads and changed them around 8-10 hours. It is a little hard to determine when they are full since they are black and sometimes when I leaked it was only from the center and very little (completely avoidable if you change it earlier). If you want to use these without reusing them during your period I recommend buying 3 packs, however I do recommend washing them or at least rinsing them at the end of the day.

    You won’t regret it!

    I’ve been using these reusable pads now for 2 years and can’t imagine going back to the plastic pads from the store. I’ve noticed less period cramps and definitely less chafing!! No more hair pulling from the adhesive either. This was the best swap I’ve ever made. I like these better than the period underwear because I can change out the pad whenever I need to! Thank you for providing such a great period product!!

    These are awesome when you're not sure if you're going to start or not and to just keep on hand in case to add to your underwear! Love these!! Super handy and I love that I'm helping with the environment since these are reusable!

    Great coverage and absorption

    Has great coverage and actually absorbs quickly. Only downside is it's a bit thick so be mindful when wearing tight leggings as the outline might show through.
