1 pair absorbs 9 tampons of flow

Make any kind of underwear Period.™ underwear.

The most affordable, absorbent, toxin free, comfortable reusable pads.

I’m a no brainer. I’m exactly like disposable pads, except you can keep reusing me and I am toxin free. Nasty plastic gone. Nasty bleach gone. I’m toxin-free organic cotton and super soft. Use me in your regular underwear, use me as extra back up in Period underwear, then throw me in the wash and I’m good to go again. I’m great for heavy and light days.

Quick fact: did you know the plastic tape bit on disposable pads is one of the most polluting plastics in the world? It has a super high carbon footprint as well.

Each pad measures 10.25" long and 3.25" wide at the narrowest part.

How long will one pad last?

Everybody periods differently so it’s tough to be exact. Our average time is about 8 hours on a heavier flow day. Though some customers need to change after 3 to 4 hours, and others can go up to 14 hours (lucky them!). As your period gets lighter, one pair can take you through the day and night (just like regular underwear). But again, everybody Periods differently, so you need to take one cycle to figure out exactly how often you need to change. Start with a conservative estimate on your heavy days, and check in on your Period underwear after 4 hours. If you still feel good, give it another hour. Keep going until you figure out your limit. Here at Period, we find we need between 3 to 4 pairs on the first two heavy days, including evenings. And if you leak, please forgive us! Just this once. (Remember how many tampons you have forgiven). Treat the ‘leak’ as a gift and note the hour of your leakage. That is the best indicator of your ‘flow threshold’ how long the underwear will last for you.

Personal message from the entire ecosystem: thank you for using non-disposable products, it’s this kind of thinking that’s going to help save The Planet. Thank goodness, you came along.

These are better environmentally than one use pads and the fabric is soft and breathable. That said the button feels a bit flimsy and with all reusable pads they are prone to slipping and moving around. I wish there was better clasps and multiple buttons instead of one and that the wings are a bit larger and of slightly thicker material as they feel a bit thin and weak. I wear a 2x in this brand's underwear and if I double up with a pad the short wings have to scrunch the crotch part of the underwear in order to close. They're good but I think they can be tweaked to be more size inclusive and durable.

    Extremely difficult snaps

All of my pads are very difficult to snap. I need help from my boyfriend 90% of the time. They are a decent pad other than that. I thought it was a me problem until I saw other reviews

    A nice, black pad

I switched to a cup but wanted a pad for back up. These fit the bill. I had my cup slip and had minimal worries it.

The width of my underwear is slightly wider than the pad and the snaps are attached with elastics instead of fabric (one of my favorite parts), so I ended up having a leak due to that, but IT was only slight and after some time. The pad was a little shorter than I need it to be to wear full time without the cup.

    I’m very pleased with these.

    Reusable Pads

The material used is surprisingly comfortable, unfortunately, a few of the buttons are faulty.

To be expected since theyre not sticky but i don’t like how they move around so much. Will definitely still use them though.
