I’m a no brainer. I’m exactly like disposable pads, except you can keep reusing me and I am toxin free. Nasty plastic gone. Nasty bleach gone. I’m toxin-free organic cotton and super soft. Use me in your regular underwear, use me as extra back up in Period underwear, then throw me in the wash and I’m good to go again. I’m great for heavy and light days. 

Quick fact: did you know the plastic tape bit on disposable pads is one of the most polluting plastics in the world? It has a super high carbon footprint as well.

How to take care of your Period.

Rinse for a few seconds.

Either hand wash and hang dry, or add to the laundry pile.

Regular wash, no bleach.

Tumble dry low or hang dry.

Do not dry clean.

Each pad can hold up to 9 tampons, worth of blood.

How long will one pad last?

Everybody periods differently so it’s tough to be exact. Our average time is about 8 hours on a heavier flow day. Though some customers need to change after 3 to 4 hours, and others can go up to 14 hours (lucky them!). As your period gets lighter, one pair can take you through the day and night (just like regular underwear). But again, everybody Periods differently, so you need to take one cycle to figure out exactly how often you need to change. Start with a conservative estimate on your heavy days, and check in on your Period underwear after 4 hours. If you still feel good, give it another hour. Keep going until you figure out your limit. Here at Period, we find we need between 3 to 4 pairs on the first two heavy days, including evenings. And if you leak, please forgive us! Just this once. (Remember how many tampons you have forgiven). Treat the ‘leak’ as a gift and note the hour of your leakage. That is the best indicator of your ‘flow threshold’ how long the underwear will last for you.

    I do prefer the underwear more, but these are nice to have as well. Decent size, and I can pack them away in a bag. The one clip wing flaps surprisingly keeps it in place well. Would definitely buy more. I would also like a smaller/bigger option.

    Dont stay in place

    I really wanted to love these but they don't meet my expectations. With only 1 button to secure to your underwear, I find that when I take my underwear off to go to the bathroom the top of the pad flops forward. And the pad moves a little while walking. I've ruined a few pairs of underwear because of this movement. maybe have 2 buttons on the ends ?

    Amazing

    Was so skeptical doing a complete switch from disposables to reusables , started out with the panties and loved them so much decided to try the pads. Had a great experience with them and will be purchasing more !

    I wish these pads had two buttons for stability. Maybe have one on the top and one at the bottom. This will prevent it from flipping over towards the outside of the underwear when pulling underwear down to use the restroom
