Hi. I’m a new version of Period’s best-selling High Waisted in Cotton for Heavy Flows. But I can totally stand on my two feet or my amazingly absorbent gusset. I’m the softest cotton with a super soft safe organic cotton gusset. I’m great for pretty much everything - medium and light flow days, birth control periods, never-ending periods, and for pee leaks. You might say I’m perfect - ok, as long as you’re saying it. 

When to wear: anywhere you want, the world is your oyster (or sub your favorite food for oysters).

How to take care of your Period.

Rinse for a few seconds.

Either hand wash and hang dry, or add to the laundry pile.

Regular wash, no bleach.

Tumble dry low or hang dry.

Do not dry clean.

 

Each pair of Medium Flow Period. underwear can hold up to 4 tampons worth of blood.

How long will one pair of Period. last?

Everybody periods differently so it’s tough to be exact. Our average time is about 8 hours on a heavier flow day. Though some customers need to change after 3 to 4 hours, and others can go up to 14 hours (lucky them!). As your period gets lighter, one pair can take you through the day and night (just like regular underwear). But again, everybody Periods differently, so you need to take one cycle to figure out exactly how often you need to change. Start with a conservative estimate on your heavy days, and check in on your Period underwear after 4 hours. If you still feel good, give it another hour. Keep going until you figure out your limit. Here at Period, we find we need between 3 to 4 pairs on the first two heavy days, including evenings. And if you leak, please forgive us! Just this once. (Remember how many tampons you have forgiven). Treat the ‘leak’ as a gift and note the hour of your leakage. That is the best indicator of your ‘flow threshold’ how long the underwear will last for you.

    As good as competitors

    I have had competitors period underwear before but was looking for a more affordable option. These are great for light to medium flows and I love that I feel secured when wearing them.

    So Comfy!

    I switched brands of period underwear after my old ones were at the end of their life and I love this style and this brand wayyyyy more! This style is so comfortable that I forget that I'm even on my period. I love that they are so affordable, comfortable, and cute!

    I sized up (compared to my normal underwear size) based on the measurements and since I'm usually more bloated on my period I didn't want them to be too tight. They fit perfectly and I'm glad I went a size up!

    The only underwear that are actually comfortable

    I'm sure this is more common than I realize, but a lot of underwear really irritates my skin where thigh meets groin. It can be so uncomfortable. These are the only underwear that doesn't do that. I never ever have to worry about leaks, and I find myself wanting to wear these even on non-period days. I also never get wedgies when wearing these, which is a gift in and of itself. Obviously the pad gives the center it's own structure, but even the sides don't move at all. I kind of worried that wearing these would feel gross, but it never does. I don't have really heavy periods but I can't even tell there's anything in them, and there's certainly no smell. These are crazy comfortable and I would recommend them to anyone.
