Heavy absorbency: designed for heavy days, mid-days, and most importantly, for everybody.

Absorbs up to 9 tampons or 5 pads of flow.

I’m a classic boxer shape designed to absorb period flow. But here’s the real headline: I’m for people who period, because not just women period. While I look and feel very un-periody, I have a four-layer towel system that can handle your period flow for hours and, with a wicking layer, can super absorb, so that you never experience any wetness. Made of organic cotton, I’m a little softer and cozier than a regular boxer, but that’s a nice feeling on your period.

When to wear: on heavy days, mid-days, and if you prefer a boxer period.

Trying to do period math? Click here to work out how many pairs you need for your period according to your Flow Threshold.

Some customers report that this style runs a little small - we recommend sizing up if you are on the fence!

You can see our size chart here.

Toxicity

None, zero, nada, zilch. We are proud to be one of the few period underwear brands that do not use any toxins in our products because who wants chemicals near the most sensitive part of their body? Not us. Or you.

How to take care of your Period.

How long will one pair of Period. last?

Everybody periods differently so it’s tough to be exact. Our average time is about 8 hours on a heavier flow day. Though some customers need to change after 3 to 4 hours, and others can go up to 14 hours (lucky them!). As your period gets lighter, one pair can take you through the day and night (just like regular underwear). But again, everybody Periods differently, so you need to take one cycle to figure out exactly how often you need to change. Start with a conservative estimate on your heavy days, and check in on your Period underwear after 4 hours. If you still feel good, give it another hour. Keep going until you figure out your limit. Here at Period, we find we need between 3 to 4 pairs on the first two heavy days, including evenings. And if you leak, please forgive us! Just this once. (Remember how many tampons you have forgiven). Treat the ‘leak’ as a gift and note the hour of your leakage. That is the best indicator of your ‘flow threshold’ how long the underwear will last for you.

Message from a frog: you’re doing it, you’re saving the world from waste, and more than that, embracing a new way of thinking when it comes to periods. I am in awe. Enjoy the boxer!

Sneeze proof, yoga proof, leak proof :’)

Where have these been!! I stand up and nothing!! They are comfortable and soft and I wear one for the morning and at work and nothing comes through! I was so skeptical but they are nice I can’t EVER see myself wearing pads again! Bye bye leak through pads! (I’m a size 14 old navy and 2Xl once washed and dried fits PERFECT!)

    Just What I've Needed

It's a huge relief to have period underwear in a boxer style. I struggled with pads (both disposable and reusable) in boxers for a long time, and I can confidently say that this underwear is a thousand times better. I worried about taking them traveling without access to a good way to wash them, but keeping the used ones in a plastic bag until I could wash them worked out fine. They're comfortable, inconspicuous, and effective. I ordered one size up, as recommended, and they're perfect. I can't recommend them enough.

    Very gender affirming

My birth control implant expired and I transitioned to being a guy while I was on it, so I was so uncomfortable going back to women's panties to wear a damn pad. As an autistic guy with strong period cramps, tampons are just overstimulating some days. These boxers are super affirming in comparison, but they're more briefs than boxers. I can't say too much about its ability to hold heavy periods as my flow is light. I think they'd be a little hot during the summer, but they're very comfortable. I may even continue to use them on cold days once I get my new birth control just because of how soft they are.
