Yup. I’m for those days when your period has your foot down on the flow pedal. I have a little less fabric than the high-waisted, but with the same four-layer towel system I have just as much absorbency. My padding is designed to take whatever the flow throws, while making you feel extra secure and safe. Oh, did I also mention how cozy and comfy I am? Anything a tampon or pad can do, I can do so much better. 

When to wear:  On your heaviest days. Also great for postpartum and perimenopause.

How to take care of your Period.

Rinse for a few seconds.

Either hand wash and hang dry, or add to the laundry pile.

Regular wash, no bleach.

Tumble dry low or hang dry.

Do not dry clean.

Each pair of Period. underwear can hold up to 9 tampons worth of blood.

How long will one pair of Period. last?

Everybody periods differently so it’s tough to be exact. Our average time is about 8 hours on a heavier flow day. Though some customers need to change after 3 to 4 hours, and others can go up to 14 hours (lucky them!). As your period gets lighter, one pair can take you through the day and night (just like regular underwear). But again, everybody Periods differently, so you need to take one cycle to figure out exactly how often you need to change. Start with a conservative estimate on your heavy days, and check in on your Period underwear after 4 hours. If you still feel good, give it another hour. Keep going until you figure out your limit. Here at Period, we find we need between 3 to 4 pairs on the first two heavy days, including evenings. And if you leak, please forgive us! Just this once. (Remember how many tampons you have forgiven). Treat the ‘leak’ as a gift and note the hour of your leakage. That is the best indicator of your ‘flow threshold’ how long the underwear will last for you.

    I'm a short torso'd girl and high waisted clothing goes up to my boobs. These fit and sit perfectly low on me. I get about 2 hours of protection when at my heaviest but that is about what I expected. These are my favorites out of all the period protection and styles I have tried.

    Awesome - total game changer

    Very pleased with my order. I’ve been on a journey to improve my period; supplements, life style, and now period products themselves. I’ve tried every cup, disc, tampon, and pad under the sun and have disliked every single one. I finally made the leap to period undies and my only regret is not doing it sooner. They are comfortable, easy to clean, and I do not have to worry about leaks at work or while sleeping. True to size, I wear an XL in regular underwear and ordered an XL and they were prefect. I will be ordering more!

    Runs big

    I just got these today. I wear a size 3x and a 3x may be a little snug on me even. I got the 3x in these and they are humongous on me. The part of them that absorbs the blood is so big and bulky it’s like wearing a diaper. I’ve used a few different pairs of period underwear and these are definitely the worst. I mean I do like the full coverage of the absorbent part in the front but the back there’s barely any. I like the feel of the actual fabric. If I were to try again I would size down at least 2 sizes.

    The best period underwear

    I've been using this company for 2 years now and they are hands down the best period underwear on the market! I was hesitant about ordering a bikini style as I usually like high wasted panties, but these ones are great! No leaks or anything!

    Works but terribly uncomfortable.

    After wanting to purchase for a couple of years now, I finally did. I was so excited to try them out and was unfortunately SO DISAPPOINTED. I am giving 2 stars because they do not leak and they don’t look or feel thick like a diaper… yet of all the underwear I have worn in my life - period or regular - I have never put any pair on more uncomfortable than these. The size is perfect, so that’s not the problem. I found them to be so itchy and they pinch - your underwear should not cause you pain, especially on your period. I wanted to love them but I cannot recommend them to anyone, you get what you pay for I guess.
