Yup. I’m for those days when your period has your foot down on the flow pedal. I have a little less fabric than the high-waisted, but with the same four-layer towel system I have just as much absorbency. My padding is designed to take whatever the flow throws, while making you feel extra secure and safe. Oh, did I also mention how cozy and comfy I am? Anything a tampon or pad can do, I can do so much better. 

When to wear:  On your heaviest days. Also great for postpartum and perimenopause.

How to take care of your Period.

Rinse for a few seconds.

Either hand wash and hang dry, or add to the laundry pile.

Regular wash, no bleach.

Tumble dry low or hang dry.

Do not dry clean.

Each pair of Period. underwear can hold up to 9 tampons worth of blood.

How long will one pair of Period. last?

Everybody periods differently so it’s tough to be exact. Our average time is about 8 hours on a heavier flow day. Though some customers need to change after 3 to 4 hours, and others can go up to 14 hours (lucky them!). As your period gets lighter, one pair can take you through the day and night (just like regular underwear). But again, everybody Periods differently, so you need to take one cycle to figure out exactly how often you need to change. Start with a conservative estimate on your heavy days, and check in on your Period underwear after 4 hours. If you still feel good, give it another hour. Keep going until you figure out your limit. Here at Period, we find we need between 3 to 4 pairs on the first two heavy days, including evenings. And if you leak, please forgive us! Just this once. (Remember how many tampons you have forgiven). Treat the ‘leak’ as a gift and note the hour of your leakage. That is the best indicator of your ‘flow threshold’ how long the underwear will last for you.

    Really like this one

    Comparing to others out there, I prefer this one over the others. fit is perfect, didn't have to worry about absorption, and they cleaned so well.

    Love the absorbency, but wish I had gone with the XS.

    I usually wear Small, but I wish I had gone with the XS. They aren’t very comfortable because the crotch doesn’t fit snuggly even when pulling them up nighter on my waist. I love the absorbency, but really can’t wear them to sleep or without tighter fitting pants to feel like I’m not going to leak out the bottom. Just got the sleeper panty and I’m obsessed. I wish I had started there! They are very comfortable and I feel VERY secure to move around as normal without concern for leaks.

    Works well - but sizing is weird

    Bought the bikini period for heavy flows in both the organic cotton (black pair) and sportystretch (plum) in 2X. However, there was a noticeable size difference between the two (and while the sportystretch is a ribbed fabric, still difference is larger than it should be).

    After wearing both, can confirm that the plum/sportystretch pain fits better / as expected whereas the black/organic cotton pair is slightly looser. Not enough to cause leaks, but I also wear these as a second layer of defense overnight with my cup. Also unsure if I would be able to size down to 1X for the organic cotton, but probably.

    My new period panties are fantastic!

    I purchased these to save money on disposable period products. My family had some of the these Period. panties already and like them, so I went for it. Ordering, shipping, and receiving my order went smoothly.

    I really love how I can just slip them on and be worry free. I pair these with period discs during my heavy days, but on my lighter days I can just wear my Period.
