I’m a classic boxer shape designed to absorb period flow. But here’s the real headline: I’m for people who period, because not just women period. While I look and feel very un-periody, I have a four-layer towel system that can handle your period flow for hours and, with a wicking layer, can super absorb, so that you never experience any wetness. Made of organic cotton, I’m a little softer and cozier than a regular boxer, but that’s a nice feeling on your period.

How to take care of your Period.

Rinse for a few seconds.

Either hand wash and hang dry, or add to the laundry pile.

Regular wash, no bleach.

Tumble dry low or hang dry.

Do not dry clean.

Each pair of Period. underwear can hold up to 9 tampons worth of blood.

How long will one pair of Period. last?

Everybody periods differently so it’s tough to be exact. Our average time is about 8 hours on a heavier flow day. Though some customers need to change after 3 to 4 hours, and others can go up to 14 hours (lucky them!). As your period gets lighter, one pair can take you through the day and night (just like regular underwear). But again, everybody Periods differently, so you need to take one cycle to figure out exactly how often you need to change. Start with a conservative estimate on your heavy days, and check in on your Period underwear after 4 hours. If you still feel good, give it another hour. Keep going until you figure out your limit. Here at Period, we find we need between 3 to 4 pairs on the first two heavy days, including evenings. And if you leak, please forgive us! Just this once. (Remember how many tampons you have forgiven). Treat the ‘leak’ as a gift and note the hour of your leakage. That is the best indicator of your ‘flow threshold’ how long the underwear will last for you.

    Still in love but I might need an extra

    I've been using Period. for 4 years now and I love it! I've been using the bikini period. I recently purchased the boxer because recently I've been having a leak problem I don't know why I should've figure it out by now, I guess I forgot how to period, I sit perfectly still and yet it happens. I love the boxer period but I think it would be even better with the absorbent panel also on the sides that way if there's a leak it doesn't go to your pants. I'm probably the only one who needs it 😅 but that's a me problem to figure out otherwise Love Love the products! Definitely will recommande to my nieces when they start to period. Also if anyone has advice to prevent leaks I'm all ears

    So comfy & very protective

    This isn’t my first time buying period underwear from The Period Company, but the last set I bought over 2-3 years ago finally started breaking. I love that they lasted a long time (especially compared to the other brand I had bought first). The first time I bought the post partum underwear for the pilonidal coat I had before I could have it surgically removed, but I didn’t need that this time so I was kinda nervous about the fit before (would it be too large? Would it be just right?) because I bought my last set in 2x and they were a little small. But they also weren’t as stretchy. I normally wear a 1x in underwear so these boxers ended up being a bit big, but not enough to be an issue. I just finished my first period since I bought them and they worked so well I almost couldn’t tell I had started & ended my period lol. I have a heavy flow the first two days & the last two are generally just like spotting or something because it’s on & off. So it was great wearing the new prepped underwear bc A) no holes (yay!) and B) better fit. Overall very happy customer & highly recommend

    Love the way they fit

    I was so worried that these wouldn't fit my curvy b00ty but I took a chance and ordered my regular size. I was HAPPILY surprised that they fit me and have a super cute mid-rise style. I would say they are true to size, which is such a relief! Now please make them for lower flows <3
