Hi! I’m super-super-super absorbent and designed to handle the heaviest days of a period. I’m made of soft, comfy organic cotton and have a four-layer padded towel absorbency that holds your flow. I have a wicking layer on top, so I can absorb the blood super fast with no wetness. You will feel padding, but frankly, on those heavy days, feeling secure, safe, and leak proof is a pretty great feeling, alongside being so comfy and cozy. Warning: after you use me once, you will look at tampons and disposable pads and pretend you don’t know them. Be cold. They deserve it. 

When to wear: on your heaviest days. Also great for postpartum and perimenopause.

How long will one pair of Period. last?

Everybody periods differently so it’s tough to be exact. Our average time is about 8 hours on a heavier flow day. Though some customers need to change after 3 to 4 hours, and others can go up to 14 hours (lucky them!). As your period gets lighter, one pair can take you through the day and night (just like regular underwear). But again, everybody Periods differently, so you need to take one cycle to figure out exactly how often you need to change. Start with a conservative estimate on your heavy days, and check in on your Period underwear after 4 hours. If you still feel good, give it another hour. Keep going until you figure out your limit. Here at Period, we find we need between 3 to 4 pairs on the first two heavy days, including evenings. And if you leak, please forgive us! Just this once. (Remember how many tampons you have forgiven). Treat the ‘leak’ as a gift and note the hour of your leakage. That is the best indicator of your ‘flow threshold’ how long the underwear will last for you.

Yup. I’m for those days when your period has your foot down on the flow pedal. I have a little less fabric than the high-waisted, but with the same four-layer towel system I have just as much absorbency. My padding is designed to take whatever the flow throws, while making you feel extra secure and safe. Oh, did I also mention how cozy and comfy I am? Message from a used tampon: Hi, I’m a tampon that was last used in 1946 - only once - and I’m still languishing on a land fill. As you can imagine, I’ve had a lot of time to reflect. What was the point of me? Why did someone use me once for just a few hours and nearly a hundred years later, I’m still here? Why? This feels like a pretty stupid system to me. Please overthrow it! Hi. I’m a thong that can absorb period flow. I’m a thong that can absorb period flow. Sorry for repeating myself, but a lot of people can’t believe it. I’m great for the end of your period when you want to feel non-periody. The absorbent padding is so discreet you won’t even know it’s there, yet it’s highly effective.. I’m not for the heavy days, but who wants to wear a thong on those? Nightmare. I’m great for working out in, and getting back to a non-period way of being.

Sometimes that easing off can start around day 3, or not even until 4 or 5. Or maybe, it starts for you on day 2. These are the days the lighter absorbency models are made for. Again, everybody Periods differently, so you need to take one cycle to figure out exactly when to pop on the lighter absorbency model and if you need to change twice a day, or not at all. Hi! I’m a new-and-improved version of our Adaptive Period, inspired by excellent community feedback. I'm the perfect period solution for all types of bodies, abilities, and mobilities. I have soft and secure Velcro fasteners on the sides so you don't have to step in and out of me to wear -  perfect for caretakers or those with limited dexterity. 

I can’t tell you how many times I have been thoroughly wear tested to ensure the Velcro doesn't scratch the body and or create any sensory issues. The Velcro is soft and flexible for comfortable long term wear, and makes it easy to fit around meters and ostomy bags.  

My extended gusset offers maximum coverage from front to back, and is made of organic cotton for ultimate comfort. I know what you’re thinking.
