I got my period yesterday, second period after getting off of depo earlier this year. I’ve always had a heavy painful flow and it is back with a vengeance….omg do I wish I had these in high school. I got home from the gym at 10:00 am, showered, put these on and have had them on until now, which is 6:12pm. I have not even had the thought of putting in a tampon. The part that looks wet in the image is somehow DRY?? I pushed a wad of toilet paper against it and its definitely absorbed everything from the day—absorbed to where, a mystery to me. There was also no bleed through on the underside of the underwear (see grey part of photo. I’ve seen at least 2 decent clots and a ton of dark blood in the toilet every time I’ve used the restroom today. I also can’t smell a thing even putting my face within a foot of the bloodied underwear after wearing for almost 8 hours. Can’t say the same if this was a pad or a tampon. I just bought 2 overnights and I’m going to get 3 more pairs of these when they’re back in stock. These are insanely good. Curious how they hold up after a wash.

Why did it take so long to come up with this? I've bought other brands but Period brand panties are the best! Feel like your wearing regular panties without a diaper!!! I wear them in addition to my period pcup since i hate pads!! My mom even bought some!
Will definitely be buying more! In a medium next time!

I originally tried the high waisted which I do also like but those come all the way up to my belly button. These have good coverage and sit right above my hips. According to the size chart I should get a medium but I’m really glad I got a small. They seem very absorbent and I like the color!

Bought these for my teen to use for her cross country meets, so she doesn’t have to deal with bulky pads while running. She got to try a pair out during her first meet and said they worked great. No leaks! Fits great! She does still have a relatively light to medium flow but she was able to wear one pair for several hours without issue.

This underwear is okay. It does a so-so job at absorbing. It does a decent job of sucking up the blood, but everything else (endometrial tissue and vaginal secretions, specifically mucus) will just sit there.
I ended up changing underwear three times on my first day, and I DON’T have a heavy flow. Even if I didn’t have non-blood discharge, this underwear doesn’t do a good job of staying dry. It’s not dripping wet, but it feels damp and clammy, which just isn’t comfortable.
All in all, I can only think of two things this underwear has over standard cotton pads: 1) Less trash, and 2) it stays put (unlike pads, which frequently shift).
