How to take care of your Period.

Rinse for a few seconds.

Either hand wash and hang dry, or add to the laundry pile.

Regular wash, no bleach.

Tumble dry low or hang dry.

Do not dry clean.

Each pair of Period. underwear can hold up to 10 tbls, or 8-10 tampons, worth of blood.

How long will one pair of Period. last?

Everybody periods differently so it’s tough to be exact. Our average time is about 8 hours on a heavier flow day. Though some customers need to change after 3 to 4 hours, and others can go up to 14 hours (lucky them!). As your period gets lighter, one pair can take you through the day and night (just like regular underwear). But again, everybody Periods differently, so you need to take one cycle to figure out exactly how often you need to change. Start with a conservative estimate on your heavy days, and check in on your Period underwear after 4 hours. If you still feel good, give it another hour. Keep going until you figure out your limit. Here at Period, we find we need between 3 to 4 pairs on the first two heavy days, including evenings. And if you leak, please forgive us! Just this once. (Remember how many tampons you have forgiven). Treat the ‘leak’ as a gift and note the hour of your leakage. That is the best indicator of your ‘flow threshold’ how long the underwear will last for you.

    Great Product

    Why did it take so long to come up with this? I've bought other brands but Period brand panties are the best! Feel like your wearing regular panties without a diaper!!! I wear them in addition to my period pcup since i hate pads!! My mom even bought some!

    Will definitely be buying more! In a medium next time!

    The bikini panties don't fit me. They keep falling down. I was sent the bikinis as a replacement because I ordered two pairs of the high waisted in sporty stretch, and they came with holes and bleach stains in them, but they were out of stock. I saw that the high waisted in sporty stretch panties were back in stock, I really would like to send back the bikinis for two pairs of the high waisted in sporty stretch panties size XXL.

    So comfortable!

    Periods shouldn't be uncomfortable

    Periods shouldn't be uncomfortable and this product goes a long way towards making those days as comfortable as possible. I bought a test pair from Walmart in my usual size of 2XL (and which was indicated by the size chart) and I am so glad I did because they were HUGE on me. Not unwearable but definitely not my size. I placed a large online order going down a size to just XL and they were perfect. I get about 2 hours of wear during my heaviest flow, which is about what I got from pads and other period underwear, which was about expected. I do wish the gusset did extend a bit higher in both the front and the back. My only complaint is I can feel across my buttocks where the gusset ends. Not uncomfortable just noticeable.
