Make any kind of underwear Period.™ underwear.

The most affordable, absorbent, toxin free, comfortable reusable pads.

I’m a no brainer. I’m exactly like disposable pads, except you can keep reusing me and I am toxin free. Nasty plastic gone. Nasty bleach gone. I’m toxin-free organic cotton and super soft. Use me in your regular underwear, use me as extra back up in Period underwear, then throw me in the wash and I’m good to go again. I’m great for heavy and light days.
Quick fact: did you know the plastic tape bit on disposable pads is one of the most polluting plastics in the world? It has a super high carbon footprint as well.

Each pad measures 10.25" long and 3.25" wide at the narrowest part.

How to take care of your Period.

Rinse for a few seconds.

Either hand wash and hang dry, or add to the laundry pile.

Regular wash, no bleach.

Tumble dry low or hang dry.

Do not dry clean.

Each pad can hold up to 10 tablespoons, or 8-10 tampons, worth of blood.

Check out our absorbency test video here.

You can see the length of the absorbent panel here.

How long will one pad last?

Everybody periods differently so it’s tough to be exact. Our average time is about 8 hours on a heavier flow day. Though some customers need to change after 3 to 4 hours, and others can go up to 14 hours (lucky them!). As your period gets lighter, one pair can take you through the day and night (just like regular underwear). But again, everybody Periods differently, so you need to take one cycle to figure out exactly how often you need to change. Start with a conservative estimate on your heavy days, and check in on your Period underwear after 4 hours. If you still feel good, give it another hour. Keep going until you figure out your limit. Here at Period, we find we need between 3 to 4 pairs on the first two heavy days, including evenings. And if you leak, please forgive us! Just this once. (Remember how many tampons you have forgiven). Treat the ‘leak’ as a gift and note the hour of your leakage. That is the best indicator of your ‘flow threshold’ how long the underwear will last for you.

Personal message from the entire ecosystem: thank you for using non-disposable products, it’s this kind of thinking that’s going to help save The Planet. Thank goodness, you came along.

My go-to when the panties are in the wash, hah

Been using these for at least 6 months, and I'd say - i use them all the time, but I don't love love them like I do the undies! They perform when it comes to flow, but the single elastic snap fit and length comes up short. I'd like to see another 2-3" of length and a double or triple elastic snap to REALLY feel as secure in these as the undies. That being said - still great in a pinch or instead of liner days. :)

    they're fine

They keep asking me for a review - so here it is: they are fine, but honestly I hate having to sew these into the underwear that I like and I wish you guys would make more supportive options.
