The Teen Period. Boyshort in Organic Cotton For Heavy Flows

I bought these for my 13 year old daughter. Let me start by saying, when she first started her period, we tried Knix Teens as there was a lot of hype about them and I hadn't yet heard of The Period Company. She was hesitant about their super sleepover short but I knew if she gave them a chance she'd like them. She did end up liking them but when it came time to get her some new ones a couple of months ago, they didn't have them in stock and she wasn't please with their other options. I did what I usually do and took to the internet researching away where I found this lovely company. I loved everything I read from the helpful guides to the handle and care instructions. I wasn't sure she'd like these boyshorts but I had a little incling that she would come around based on the quality of look proof features. SHE ABSOLUTELY LOVES THEM!! I can't stress how much this means as she isn't easy to please in the period department. She said when she wears them while on her period she can't even tell that she is on her period. They are super comfortable and not bulky and awkward like her previous Knix Period Panties. She loathed going to school on her period just because of the bulkiness and how she felt they made her walk funny as she was constantly aware of them, and in turn her period. My child really does love these panties and we are so grateful that they exist because other period options aren't great. We have tried some other brands of period panties and were disappointed that they fit really weird or didn't absorb much. I personally have been using Period. panties for years and love them. We highly recommend them!

That said, I think that there needs to be one size smaller for the younger humans who menstruate. My child is only 9 and wears size 10/12 clothing. The smallest option here isn't a horrible fit, but there is too much room in the leg openings, and so they sometimes leak in that area. I don't think it's a problem with the way the junior size small panties are made, but just that there needs to be a smaller size. If my child tried to wear regular panties or shorts that are a junior size small, they would also be too big. Kids get their periods so young now, and products don't seem to have caught up quite yet.

However, I happen to be a little too petite for Period.’s undies in an adult size xs. So, I went for a medium in these and they actually fit really well haha! I also find it worth mentioning that I prefer this cut/style/fabrication much more than those of the adult versions I purchased.

Taking off a star, as the pair I received had an incorrectly attached lining - which allowed for leaks, boo. I have a relatively light period, so I’m fairly certain these would be perfect otherwise.
