Hi. I’m a new version of Period’s best-selling High Waisted in Cotton for Heavy Flows. But I can totally stand on my two feet or my amazingly absorbent gusset. I’m the softest cotton with a super soft safe organic cotton gusset. I’m great for pretty much everything - medium and light flow days, birth control periods, never-ending periods, and for pee leaks. You might say I’m perfect - ok, as long as you’re saying it. 

When to wear: anywhere you want, the world is your oyster (or sub your favorite food for oysters).

How to take care of your Period.

Rinse for a few seconds.

Either hand wash and hang dry, or add to the laundry pile.

Regular wash, no bleach.

Tumble dry low or hang dry.

Do not dry clean.

 

Each pair of Medium Flow Period. underwear can hold up to 4 tampons worth of blood.

How long will one pair of Period. last?

Everybody periods differently so it’s tough to be exact. Our average time is about 8 hours on a heavier flow day. Though some customers need to change after 3 to 4 hours, and others can go up to 14 hours (lucky them!). As your period gets lighter, one pair can take you through the day and night (just like regular underwear). But again, everybody Periods differently, so you need to take one cycle to figure out exactly how often you need to change. Start with a conservative estimate on your heavy days, and check in on your Period underwear after 4 hours. If you still feel good, give it another hour. Keep going until you figure out your limit. Here at Period, we find we need between 3 to 4 pairs on the first two heavy days, including evenings. And if you leak, please forgive us! Just this once. (Remember how many tampons you have forgiven). Treat the ‘leak’ as a gift and note the hour of your leakage. That is the best indicator of your ‘flow threshold’ how long the underwear will last for you.

    I have been searching for period panties that were comfortable as my everyday panties, were high waisted & didnt roll under my belly, and ones that also didn't have soo much compression (Hello, cramps!) These are BEAUTIFUL. Im 5'4, 230lbs....proportional...usually a 2x, I decided to size up to a 3x bc I preferred a lose fit around my stomach during period days. They are the best things I have ever purchased. I was on my period when these shipped & now Im sad I have to wait til next month :D

    Good, but size down

    I really like these, they worked well for me overnight and I will definitely be buying more. I will say if you are someone who is between sizes to size down because when I ordered my normal larger size they were really loose and saggy. Once I sized down they fit great.

    Buy these for a more snug fit

    As a plus sized woman I was thrilled to find this company! I am normally a size 13 in underwear, 28 in jeans. I ordered a size 6x hoping these would fit. Thankfully, they do, however the fit is rather snug, as if they are more meant to fit a size 12 underwear. However! With that said, they are very comfortable. They don’t ride up my backside and do a great job at containing light leaks. They are definitely worth every penny!

    A Bit Loose

    I bought this in a size small, like another underwear. The issue was the band size was a little bit loose and didn't fit exactly right. The rest of the fit was good enough, but it made me worried in the middle of the night. Not sure if I would've benefited from an XS instead. Absorbent enough though.
