Hi. I’m a new version of Period’s best-selling High Waisted in Cotton for Heavy Flows. But I can totally stand on my two feet or my amazingly absorbent gusset. I’m the softest cotton with a super soft safe organic cotton gusset. I’m great for pretty much everything - medium and light flow days, birth control periods, never-ending periods, and for pee leaks. You might say I’m perfect - ok, as long as you’re saying it. 

When to wear: anywhere you want, the world is your oyster (or sub your favorite food for oysters).

How to take care of your Period.

Rinse for a few seconds.

Either hand wash and hang dry, or add to the laundry pile.

Regular wash, no bleach.

Tumble dry low or hang dry.

Do not dry clean.

 

Each pair of Medium Flow Period. underwear can hold up to 4 tampons worth of blood.

How long will one pair of Period. last?

Everybody periods differently so it’s tough to be exact. Our average time is about 8 hours on a heavier flow day. Though some customers need to change after 3 to 4 hours, and others can go up to 14 hours (lucky them!). As your period gets lighter, one pair can take you through the day and night (just like regular underwear). But again, everybody Periods differently, so you need to take one cycle to figure out exactly how often you need to change. Start with a conservative estimate on your heavy days, and check in on your Period underwear after 4 hours. If you still feel good, give it another hour. Keep going until you figure out your limit. Here at Period, we find we need between 3 to 4 pairs on the first two heavy days, including evenings. And if you leak, please forgive us! Just this once. (Remember how many tampons you have forgiven). Treat the ‘leak’ as a gift and note the hour of your leakage. That is the best indicator of your ‘flow threshold’ how long the underwear will last for you.

    I have been searching for period panties that were comfortable as my everyday panties, were high waisted & didnt roll under my belly, and ones that also didn't have soo much compression (Hello, cramps!) These are BEAUTIFUL. Im 5'4, 230lbs....proportional...usually a 2x, I decided to size up to a 3x bc I preferred a lose fit around my stomach during period days. They are the best things I have ever purchased. I was on my period when these shipped & now Im sad I have to wait til next month :D

    Love them!!

    Finally had the chance to put these to the test and I love them!!! I typically do not use any “protection” on my period and I just run to the bathroom whenever a laugh or cough or simply too much time puts me over the edge; I am very blessed to not experience continual or heavy bleeding. That said, these panties made me feel so safe and secure! I went out to dinner wearing a dress and these were invisible underneath, and I didn’t feel them at all! When the moment came that would have typically sent me running, I felt confident to stay knowing the blood was contained!! I didn’t feel icky or like I was going to leak at all. So comfortable!!

    Breakthrough bleeding has never been so easy to deal with!

    Bought some at walmart when i saw them, i started depo at the time, now nexplanon and breakthrough bleeding likes to ruin every day for me! Having these and not worrying about not enough for a tampon and hating the feel of pads, no concerns for staining all the underwear I own was a game changer!! Recommended these to my partner because of how awesome they are!

    SO comfortable and affordable

    I finally got to use my new Period. underwear and I'm so happy with them! The high waisted underwear are comfortable and supportive and don't look like grandma panties haha. I've tried Thinx period underwear and while I've liked those, they are really expensive! These Period. brand underwear are just as good quality for a much more affordable price.

    I usually wear mediums in clothes and underwear, and I do think I'll order a small in these if/when I need to repurchase, just for a little more secure and snug fit.
