Hi. I’m the perfect pair of high-waisted for when your flow begins to lessen, or for birth control periods. What’s a birth control period!? Well, when you just don’t know what’s coming. I’ve got light padding so I’m great for bulky-phobes but you’ll be shocked at how absorbent I am. Not toxic shocked though! Phew. Let’s leave that to the tampons. I’m also great for periods that can’t quite end and for panty-liner lovers. I’m made from super soft brushed microfiber with an organic cotton gusset. I also bring a light mood with me. You’re welcome.  

When to wear: medium days, light days, what the hell, everyday!

How to take care of your Period.

Rinse for a few seconds.

Either hand wash and hang dry, or add to the laundry pile.

Regular wash, no bleach.

Tumble dry low or hang dry.

Do not dry clean.

Each pair of Medium Flow Period. underwear can hold up to 6 tablespoons, or 4-6 tampons, worth of blood.

How long will one pair of Period. last?

Everybody periods differently so it’s tough to be exact. Our average time is about 8 hours on a heavier flow day. Though some customers need to change after 3 to 4 hours, and others can go up to 14 hours (lucky them!). As your period gets lighter, one pair can take you through the day and night (just like regular underwear). But again, everybody Periods differently, so you need to take one cycle to figure out exactly how often you need to change. Start with a conservative estimate on your heavy days, and check in on your Period underwear after 4 hours. If you still feel good, give it another hour. Keep going until you figure out your limit. Here at Period, we find we need between 3 to 4 pairs on the first two heavy days, including evenings. And if you leak, please forgive us! Just this once. (Remember how many tampons you have forgiven). Treat the ‘leak’ as a gift and note the hour of your leakage. That is the best indicator of your ‘flow threshold’ how long the underwear will last for you.

    Secure flow

    For me the feel of the Microfiber is more comfortable then the cotton. It naturally curves to the shape of your body. Now that I'm almost 50, I feel secure when wearing them for instances when I cough, sneeze or laugh to hard. I bought a couple of the cotton, and several of the Microfiber. I'm looking forward to buying the stretch whenever my 2X size is ever in stock. I tried shopping the period company brand in a few different Walmart's in person here in CA, but they never heard of them. I'll just continue to order online from the website. I'm very pleased with this product and will recommend.

    I like the feel and comfort of the heavy flow panties better. These run a little smaller than the heavy flow. These will be good backup panties

    Really not a fan. The back of the panty where the panty liner part meets the panty fabric, is too loose. The padding pushes against the back of the panty and of you're wearing a dress you can see it bulging out. Also these suck because the part where the crotch at the thighs meet is taken into way too far. It's uncomfortable how tight it is around the thighs. Will never but these again, they are so uncomfortable.
