I’m a no brainer. I’m exactly like disposable pads, except you can keep reusing me and I am toxin free. Nasty plastic gone. Nasty bleach gone. I’m toxin-free organic cotton and super soft. Use me in your regular underwear, use me as extra back up in Period underwear, then throw me in the wash and I’m good to go again. I’m great for heavy and light days. 

Quick fact: did you know the plastic tape bit on disposable pads is one of the most polluting plastics in the world? It has a super high carbon footprint as well.

Each pad measures 10.25" long and 3.25" wide at the narrowest part.

How to take care of your Period.

Rinse any fresh blood off in the sink or the shower.

Hang to dry then add to your laundry pile. 

Machine wash warm, no bleach.

Tumble dry low. Do not dry clean or iron. 

Each pad can hold up to 9 tampons, worth of blood.

How long will one pad last?

Everybody periods differently so it’s tough to be exact. Our average time is about 8 hours on a heavier flow day. Though some customers need to change after 3 to 4 hours, and others can go up to 14 hours (lucky them!). As your period gets lighter, one pair can take you through the day and night (just like regular underwear). But again, everybody Periods differently, so you need to take one cycle to figure out exactly how often you need to change. Start with a conservative estimate on your heavy days, and check in on your Period underwear after 4 hours. If you still feel good, give it another hour. Keep going until you figure out your limit. Here at Period, we find we need between 3 to 4 pairs on the first two heavy days, including evenings. And if you leak, please forgive us! Just this once. (Remember how many tampons you have forgiven). Treat the ‘leak’ as a gift and note the hour of your leakage. That is the best indicator of your ‘flow threshold’ how long the underwear will last for you.

    so, so bad.

    i was so excited for these because they were a good price and made with a fair amount of cotton, but they really messed these up :/ i don’t know if they made the crotch part because they think most women wear thongs or something, but the wings are SO incredibly annoying and too small to wrap around my normal underwear. like, if the wings were longer they’d be so comfy and perfect… instead, it scrunches the fabric up and it makes the crotch dig into my vulva and feel so uncomfortable. it’s so, so bad.

    Absolutely amazing

    These pads are genuinely SO amazing. They are easily washable and so comfortable. Most importantly, they stay put. I experienced so much shifting with disposable pads due to sweat. No more!! I love these pads so, so much. I am looking forward to ordering more in the future.

    I will say, they do stain easily, but this doesn’t bother me. I would prefer staining rather than potential added chemicals to prevent staining. I have handwashed and air dried them, and I have machine washed and machine dried them, and it doesn’t make much difference, as they are sturdy.

    Anyways, just try them, you won’t regret it.

    Most comfortable and best protection

    These are the most comfortable and best protection I’ve found in all the reusable underwear/pads I’ve tried. And the only brand that hasn’t developed a smell no matter how many times I’ve worn and washed them.
